Harvard Medical International, a subsidiary corporation of Harvard University, has reached a collaboration agreement with the Beijing TongZhou District Government to develop a teaching hospital that will be granted status as a “Harvard Medical International Associated Institution”. The Hospital is planned to be a 1000-bed comprehensive hospital with general medical/surgical, tertiary care, together with medical education and life-sciences research. The hospital will be developed into a world class medical center in China. Harvard Medical International will assist in the recruitment of world prominent specialists and management executives for this Harvard Medical International Associated Institution.
This Harvard Medical International Associated Institution will be located in the newly planned Health Care Zone in the center of the new city of Tongzhou District, which is located on the east of the 6th ring road of Beijing.
Projects for Fundraising:
-International Hospital Zone (with 1000-hospital bed) occupies 28.8 hectare area expecting 7 billion RMB investments
-Medical Education Center occupies 20 hectare area expecting 2.5 billion RMB investments
International Research and Development Zone occupies 26.7 hectare area expecting 1.7 billion investments
